How to Play Le Zeus
Six steps from the bet bar to the 20,000x cap: the line pays, the Mystery fork on reels 2 to 5, the respin chain and the three bonus tiers. Each feature is pulled apart on the Le Zeus bonus features page.
Set Your Bet
Open Le Zeus and pick a bet level. The demo client lists 27 of them, from $0.10 up to $50, and your casino may publish a narrower range. Every Coin, Diamond and line win is a multiple of that stake, so bet size scales the cash and changes nothing else about the reels.
Spin the 6x5 Grid
Wins pay on 19 fixed lines, left to right starting at reel 1. Ten line symbols run the paytable: four Greek letters worth 3x for six of a kind, an oil lamp and a laurelled column at 5x, crossed swords and theatre masks at 10x, a winged laurel at 50x and a crested Spartan helmet at 100x. The Wild substitutes for all of them and pays 200x for six.
Watch Reels 2, 3, 4 and 5
Mystery symbols only land on those four reels during normal play, and they land vertically adjacent. Turn one over and you get one of two things: high-paying symbols and Wilds, or a Mystery Reel. Everything interesting in this game starts at that fork.
Ride the Respin Chain
If the reveal is high-pays or Wilds and they form a win, every revealed symbol reverts to a Mystery, locks in place, and the board respins. New symbols reveal, new wins pay, and the sequence keeps going until a pass awards nothing new or a Mystery Reel turns up.
Cash the Mystery Reel
Mysteries sharing a reel spin on their own. Coins and Diamonds reveal first — Bronze 0.2x to 4x, Silver 5x to 20x, Gold 25x to 100x, Diamonds 150x, 250x or 500x. Clovers go next, green ones on adjacent squares and gold ones across the whole grid, multiplying by x2 to x20. Pots of Gold activate last, top to bottom and left to right, then everything except the Pots spins again.
Pick a Way Into the Bonus
Three FS scatters open Bolt & Run, four open Myth-Taken Identity, five open Gods Just Wanna Have Fun. Eight free spins in each, with no retriggers — FS symbols cannot land inside a bonus. Two of them are buyable: Bolt & Run at 80x (96.33%) and Myth-Taken Identity at 300x (96.25%). Gods has no buy at any price, and the 20,000x cap is reachable in every mode regardless.
Symbol Paytable
Values read off the game's own paytable as multiples of your total bet. Line wins need three or more matching symbols starting at reel 1; the figures shown are for six of a kind — one on every reel of the 6x5 grid.
Bonus Features Explained
Each feature plays differently. Here's what actually happens — no marketing fluff.
Mystery Reveal
Mystery symbols land vertically adjacent on reels 2 to 5 and flip into high-paying symbols, Wilds, or a Mystery Reel. Which of those you get decides whether the spin turns into a respin chain or a cash drop.
Sticky Respin Sequence
When a reveal lands in a win, every revealed symbol turns back into a Mystery, locks in place, and the round spins again. It repeats until a spin adds no new win or a Mystery Reel shows up.
Coins, Clovers & Pots
Mystery Reels pay flat cash: Bronze 0.2x-4x, Silver 5x-20x, Gold 25x-100x, Diamonds 150x-500x. Clovers then multiply by x2 to x20, and Pots of Gold sweep everything into one total.
Three Free Spins Tiers
3, 4 or 5 FS scatters open Bolt & Run, Myth-Taken Identity or the hidden Gods Just Wanna Have Fun. All three run 8 free spins — what changes is how the Mysteries behave.
Quick Strategy Tips
Size the roll, not the bet. Hacksaw does not publish a hit frequency or a bonus trigger rate for Le Zeus — the info panel leaves both blank. Since the Coin values are flat multiples of your stake, a smaller bet over more spins buys you the same reels for longer.
Read the RTP line before you spin. The default is 96.26%, worked out over ten billion simulated rounds, but the client asks the server which RTP model to run. Menu → Game Info prints the figure your casino actually deployed, plus the return on each buy.
The cheap buy is the good buy. Bolt & Run costs 80x and returns 96.33% — the highest published setting in the game, base play included. Myth-Taken Identity costs 300x and returns 96.25%. You are paying nearly four times as much for the Mystery Meter, not for a better edge.
Gods is weather, not strategy. Five FS scatters is the only way into Gods Just Wanna Have Fun — Hacksaw lists it as a Hidden Epic Bonus with no buy option and no published trigger rate. The 20,000x cap is reachable in every mode anyway, so there is nothing to chase.
